Exercising my right of withdrawal

1. In accordance with European Union law applicable to distance contracts (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the national provisions in force (notably the French Consumer Code and/or Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, depending on the consumer concerned), you have a right of withdrawal for purchases made on our online store.

 

2. Right of withdrawal — period

You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within a period of 14 days. This period has been extended by an additional 16 days to provide a total period of 30 days.

The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, physically takes possession of the goods (or the last good, the last lot, or the last piece, in the case of multiple delivery).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.

For the withdrawal period to be respected, it is sufficient that you transmit your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiration of the 30-day period.

3. Effects of withdrawal

In the event of your withdrawal from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice, if applicable, of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 30 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, this reimbursement will not incur any costs for you.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. This deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the goods.

4. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

In accordance with the law in force, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised, in particular, for:

• goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized;
• goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (e.g., certain underwear, swimwear);
• goods which, after delivery and by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items.

For clothing and accessories: the right of withdrawal applies, provided that the item has not been worn beyond what is necessary to try it on (as in a fitting room).
